About Ipoh Kopitiam Arcadia

Ipoh Kopitiam Arcadia is one of the malaysian & singaporean listed in Arcadia, California. The business is registered at 400 S Baldwin Ave FC5, Arcadia, CA 91007; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Arcadia, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Ipoh Kopitiam Arcadia at (626) 317-5057; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

Its Google rating is 3.6 out of 5 from 34 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.

Arcadia is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. I love the green store facade—it immediately caught my attention. The food is amazing and came out so fast, and the self-ordering screen is very convenient. So excited to have Ipoh at the mall! It’s such a great addition, and I’ll definitely be coming back.

I was a huge fan of their main location in Alhambra, and was super excited for this location to open in the Santa Anita mall. It adds a nice variety to the food court, and the food is nearly identical to the main location. You order on the tablet and the food comes out pretty quickly.

This review is long overdue! As loyal customers since the Alhambra location had a soft opening (actually, even before they had a physical location), we were beyond excited for their second spot and drove in from West LA to catch the soft opening. Located in the first-floor food court of the Santa Anita Mall, the new location offers plenty of seating and convenient two easy-to-use kiosks for ordering. We loved the decor—it really nailed the nostalgic vibe of a traditional Malaysian kopitiam. The selection is a bit smaller than their Alhambra location, but they still have all the classics (White/black coffee, milk tea, Kaya Toast, Roti Canai, Hainan Chicken Rice, and Nasi Lemak, Pandan cake, etc) are available. They hadn't started serving roast chicken rice and BBQ Pork Char Siu during our visit on 1/16, but the staff mentioned those are coming soon. Even with a lunch rush, the 30-minute wait flew by thanks to their text notification system, which let us shop while we waited. The food quality is just as excellent as the Alhambra location. Can't wait to go back for BBQ pork rice and roast chicken rice soon!

Came here for dinner with family and ordered the Beef Rendang w/ Steamed Rice (15.90), Curry Chicken w/ Steamed Rice (14.90), Singapore Style Hainanese Chicken Rice (15.90), and the Nasi Lemak w/ Beef Rendang. They have kiosk screens to self order which is convenient. We waited around 20-30 minutes for our food because they ran out of steamed rice and asked if we could replace with the chicken rice. The dishes were all packed in to-go containers even though we were eating in the food court. The food portions were on the smaller side and they tasted just okay. Nothing special. Also most were mildly spicy but it did make my tongue burn as someone who can't eat much spice. I don't think I would come back.

So glad to see Ipoh Kopitiam expand from their main Alhambra branch to the Arcadia mall food court! It’s a great addition to the local food scene. The setup is super convenient with a simple menu and self-order kiosks. Just a heads-up that this location opens at 11 AM, so they don’t offer the breakfast sets you might be used to at the original spot. The ordering process was smooth, and the food came out fairly quickly. We ordered the roti with curry and the Hainan chicken rice. The quality is consistent—it tastes exactly the same as the original restaurant. If you are already at the mall, this is a solid, convenient choice for lunch or dinner.
